This project explores the design of a concept retail store for Skingredients, inspired by the organic structure of the amoeba and the layered composition of human skin. The proposal translates these natural forms into a fluid spatial language, where curved geometries and soft transitions define movement and create a sense of continuity throughout the store. The design aims to reflect the brand’s focus on education and skincare, creating an environment that is both engaging and informative.
Materiality plays a central role in expressing the brand’s ethos of transparency and clarity. A palette of translucent and layered materials is used to reveal depth and process, allowing elements to be partially visible rather than concealed. This approach reinforces the idea of ingredient transparency, while also creating a light, immersive atmosphere. Through the integration of display, circulation, and interaction, the space becomes an experiential retail environment that reflects both the science and identity of the Skingredients brand.

Materiality
The palette reflects Skingredients’ focus on transparency, using layered, translucent materials such as acrylic and mesh to create depth and lightness. These are contrasted with more solid finishes like terrazzo and metal to ground the space.
Bright accent colours from the brand identity introduce energy, while the overall composition remains clean and controlled. The result is a contemporary, immersive environment that balances scientific clarity with a playful aesthetic.
