About

I am Gavin (Con) O’Sullivan, a final-year Interior Architecture student at Munster Technological University. My work is particularly focused on adaptive reuse and architectural intervention, exploring how existing buildings can be transformed into functional and meaningful spaces.

Through a combination of conceptual development, detailed design, technical drawing, and visualisation, I aim to create considered environments that respond to context, materiality, and community. My final year project, centred on the adaptive reuse of Hewitt’s Distillery in Blackpool, Cork, reflects this approach by reimagining a historic structure as a contemporary cultural and community space.

I have gained professional experience through placements with Reddy Architecture + Urbanism and Keating Architects, where I contributed to interior-focused projects and developed a strong understanding of design within practice. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in interior architecture, working on projects that combine design, heritage, and user experience.
